Haman’s Downfall: The king, enraged, orders Haman to be hanged on the gallows Haman had built for Mordecai. Jews Saved & Victory Celebrated: The king allows the Jews to defend themselves, leading to their victory over their enemies. Purim Established: A joyous festival is declared to commemorate their survival.

Page 3 As they walked into the village, they saw villagers preparing for the Spring and Autumn Festival. Wah excitedly said, “I want to see these traditional rituals!” Page 4 Ming took Wah to the Tin Hau Temple, where a statue of Tin Hau was enshrined. They saw villagers ringing bells to pray for safety, feeling the power of faith. Page 5 Next, they arrived at the ancient well. Wah curiously asked, “How old is this well?” Ming replied, “It’s an important water source for villagers, over a hundred years old!” Page 6 They visited the Song Ling Tang Temple and admired the beautiful wood carvings and statues. Now they had only one wish left, and the poor man was left with a sausage stuck to his nose. They had no choice but to use the last wish to remove it. And so, they returned to having nothing but their little hut and their cow, just as before. From that day on, they learned to think twice before making any hasty wishes.
